Micro LIF and Volume analysis
Koncerto supports Confocal scanning Micro LIF and Micro Volume analysis. In Micro LIF, dye solution is used and liquid itself fluoresces. In the conventional microscopic imaging, the spatial resolution in optical axis (Z direction) is reduced because the straying fluorescent light from the liquid before and behind the MD. (spatial resolution in Z direction becomes much lower comparing to that in X and Y.) In confocal imaging, it is possible to cut these straying fluorescent light, the higher spatial resolution in Z direction is obtained.
